St. Mark's lawn goes to the dogs Oct. 5 Our neighbors are always seen walking their dogs, or playing with them, on our lawn. So why not hold a dog fair! That's just what we're doing. Right now, we're selecting our exhibitors and planning activities. Already, we're getting the support of so many people, including Happy Tails at Ash Creek and the Ash Creek Saloon! Also, meet Harold, one of our local neighbors who's the namesake of a major benefit that's part of our event. Click on Harold's face for details.
Celebrating Pentecost Children and treachers from the Godly Play group mark the first Sunday of Pentecost by the traditional releasing of red balloons. Biker Blessings a Roaring Success Pastor Beth, with assistance from St. Mark's member Anne Wirth, offered blessings for area motorcyclists and their Harleys, Triumphs, Yamahas, etc., on Sunday, May 4. The gathering, which took place after the Sunday services, was organized by Viale Ristorante. The Connecticut Post took note the next day! See our photo gallery ![]() |

We are a strong, small church. We are especially thankful for God's gifts. We are a place of hospitality and healing. We are an open church. All are welcomed. We are changing in ways that are surprising and delighting us. |
